OUR KEEPERS   -    I NOSTRI PREFERITI

We all have at least one book we would never part from. Reasons can be several. We might have been charmed by one of the characters, or totally enthralled by the twists of the plot. Maybe the settings were so unusual that struck our imagination, or simply something in the book reminds us of a very special time of our lives.
Whatever the reasons are, we think the book is precious. It doesn’t matter if it didn’t win any literary awards or if the author isn’t world-wide famous: to us, it’s wonderful anyway.

Tutti noi abbiamo almeno un libro da cui non ci separeremmo mai. Le ragioni possono essere tante. Ci può avere affascinato uno dei personaggi, o magari la trama ha tanti e tali colpi di scena che ci ha completamente catturato. Forse ci ha colpito l’ambientazione insolita, oppure semplicemente qualcosa nel libro ci ricorda un periodo molto particolare della nostra vita.
Qualunque sia la ragione, pensiamo che sia un libro prezioso. Non importa se non ha vinto premi letterari, e nemmeno che l’autrice sia conosciuta in tutto il mondo: per noi, è meraviglioso comunque.
